Apprentice Website Technician

Study for a recognised qualification whilst working hands-on with our busy web team.

We are currently looking for an apprentice website technician to work alongside our development and marketing team at our offices on Hayling Island. The 12 month apprenticeship is being run in association with a leading training company and will culminate in the award of a level 2 apprenticeship.

An apprenticeship with Brit-net means being part of a busy, friendly team producing, managing and marketing a higher calibre of website. As such you will be expected to learn quickly, but be rewarded with the opportunity to gain real expertise in the field.

The Apprentice Website Technician will play a vital part is ensuring the smooth running of a number of busy websites. Day to day tasks will include:

• Updating website content
• Producing new web content in HTML/CSS
• Producing graphics for the use on websites
• Product photography
• Answering customer enquiries
• Monitoring on-site analytics
• Researching and planning new content
• Providing low-level technical support for site owners
• Writing website copy
• Search engine and Social Marketing
• Assisting in all areas of Website Planning, Development, Support, Marketing & Management

This role would suit an enthusiastic, dedicated individual with a genuine interest in the Internet & Web Technology. This apprenticeship offers a great opportunity for a young person looking to gain training, first-hand experience and build a career in this exciting industry.
