Our Approach |
|||
The belief that our success is dependent on the success of our customers is fundamental to the way we run our business. It is by doing all that we can to help in the success of our past customers that we have not only survived the early "boom and bust" years of online business but, with along with our customers, have thrived in the market these years have created. By taking time to understand your business, we can consider the bigger picture in terms of how you can utilise the internet to meet your business goals both in the short and long term. How the process worksAlthough every project is different, the following gives some idea of how most projects progress: Initial discussionsWhether face to face or done via telephone or video conference, initial discussions give us a chance to understand the needs of your business and what you are looking to achieve through your project. Because the team members that you meet with are experienced developers and not just sales people these meetings also provide you with the opportunity to get useful advice and answers to any questions that you may have about your planned project. outline proposalThe information gained from the initial discussions will be used to develop an outline proposal for your project. The outline proposal is a written document, and usually artwork, that offers an initial suggestion as to how your website could look, operate, what features it could include and what services we can offer to help you achieve this. A guide to the final project price is also provided at this stage. project specificationChanges to the initial outline proposal are incorporated into a full project specification that details the full requirements to provide a clear reference to what will be included in the project, what the cost will be and when it will be delivered. Once the details of this specification are agreed, and a deposit paid, your final price will not differ from what has been quoted. Market ResearchIf your project contains a marketing element then we will commence online market research, competitor analysis & keyword research prior to the development stage. This ensures that our developers have the most up to date information available when developing your website. developmentDuring the development of your project you can be in constant contact with our team through our dedicated online project management system. This allows you to monitor the progress of your website, provide ongoing feedback to our team and provide additional information as the project progresses. TestingBy initially launching your project of a private development server we can work with you to test the architecture, functionality, usability and overall effectiveness of your website before it is ever seen by the public. FinalisationLast minute changes, highlighted by the testing phase, are made to the site and the site is given a final run through before you sign off the project. launchLaunching a site entails uploading it to the internet and making it available to the public. marketingAlthough marketing may well have started even before your site went live, this is the point at which the bulk of the marketing work take effect. Evaluation & SupportOnce your site is live you have constant access to your account manager and the rest of our expert team either by telephone or our online helpdesk. We also actively encourage our customers to drop in, in-person, to discuss any aspect of their online business that they may want help or advice with, ensuring that your project is not just an initial success but an ongoing one. Your ProjectWhilst the process above gives you an idea of how we manage projects,
your project may have it's own individual needs. The process outlined
above does not include staff training, regular marketing assessments,
product photography or any of the other services that we are able to take
care of for our customers. |
